Ibiza – Spain

BARS:

  • Café del Mar – This is a must-do.  The famous bar on the rocks over-looking the bay is a beautiful place to watch the sun go down while sipping a cocktail. Arrive around 6.30pm to nab a table.

BEACHES/BEACH CLUBS/CHIRINGUITAS:

  • Benirras – Beautiful sandy cove cut into the tall rocks with a hippy, bohemian feel about it and really clear water in the north east of the island.
  • Blue Marlin – Rather flash beach club on the south west of the island.  Book a sunbed and stay all day, enjoying the great Asian-Mediterranean fusion food, excellent cocktails, music, dancing and sunsets. Open from 10am-4am (+34 971410117 / www.bluemarlinibiza.com).
  • Cala Conte – On the west coast, this sandy headland is rammed with locals and holidaymakers alike at the weekends as the shallow, clear waters are a huge draw and it’s often here that the island experiences the best weather.
  • El Chiringuita – Lovely, tranquil restaurant and beach club on the sometimes windswept Playa des Cavallet beach ( / +34 971 39 53 55 / info@elchiringuitoibiza.com / www.elchiringuitoibiza.com)
